Landmine Signs
Second Life Graphics • July 21, 2006

This SL project was the result of equal parts frustration, boredom, and amusement.  Before Lupinia occupied its entire region, one of my neighbours put up an automated security device that ejected anyone who came onto her property, unless they were on a specified access list.  After it kicked me twice while working on something near the property line, I decided to put up a warning along our shared border.  A landmine field seemed the most appropriate comparison, so I created some signs based on the universally-recognized signs used in real-life minefields.

I later created a kit with different languages for distribution.  If you play Second Life, you can buy a copy here.
