So, even though I’ve tried numerous times to take my Yahoo profile out of the directory, it’s still there. So, I get a pretty steady stream of random fuckwads IMing me out of the blue. Generally, I ignore them, but every once in a while I’ll toy with them. I started out pretending to be this woman’s stalker, but then it evolved into an FBI thing. Enjoy

Where I work, we use UHF (~460 MHz) business-band radios. And, since it’s a fairly low-budget business, we share our repeater with some other group, a towing company run by a husband and wife. Now, we only hear our traffic, thanks to the magic of CTCSS (known to FRS users as “quiet codes”), but when listening with a scanner, both are audible on our frequency. I was listening to their chatter today, and it seems they’re using it more as their personal cellphone service than anything else. Here are some sample conversations.
Fox and I will be in Virginia Beach this weekend for my birthday, yay! We’re leaving tomorrow morning, and we’ll be back Sunday night. If anyone needs me, call my cell. I’ll also be checking email and voicemail on my home phone in the evenings. Also, Fox’s phone bit the dust, and he’s awaiting a new one, so call me if you need him. Email me privately for my number if you don’t have it already.
