I don't usually take a lot of macro shots (super-close-up, for those who haven't heard the term), but this one looked like it'd turn out well, and it did.  I'm not 100% certain what kind of flower these are, but based on other images I've seen, I'm pretty certain they're wild geraniums.  View the full-size version to fully appreciate the beauty of this image.
