Another composite. This was taken on an off-roading trip through the Blue Ridge mountains, and I initially didn't think I could get any display-grade images out of these. However, I got the idea to try a composite when I got home, and this was the result. Due to the position of the sun and the cloud cover, I couldn't get the sky to look any colour besides white in this shot. So, I took one exposure of the mountains the way I wanted them, and one exposure of the sky the way I wanted it. A few hours of Photoshop work, and voila! A much nicer-looking image on a rather overcast day.
